Retropie stretch screen. g. It is better for the op to get a native res splash screen. Raspbian, Xbian, and OSMC. Currently it's full from bottom to top but has black bar on the sides, the retropie menu doesn't have black bars so it's not the overscan issue. So my suggestion is one of trying to be helpful. In my experience most emulators are terribly slow, except lr-imame4all which is fast and doesn't drop frames, but has these huge borders and, yes, suffers from these audio glitches (but I must say they are rare enough). I didn’t cuss out, tease, or belittle the op at all. So I guess if you want to remove borders and you are using a CRT, then setting this one option seems to work most of time.
